Appalachian State University worked with Computer Comforts to customize an EVOLVE Lectern that could support classroom AV needs while staying faculty friendly, ergonomic, ADA compliant, durable, and budget conscious. The final design included secure AV rack space, factory cutouts for Extron and Algo components, flexible work surfaces, locking casters, keyless access, and a compact footprint suitable for different classroom sizes. By standardizing on one configurable lectern design, App State improved consistency across rooms, reduced the learning curve for instructors, and gave the AV team a more manageable and repeatable classroom technology solution.
