I’m determined to find out what “time off” really means. I don’t know if I’ll be successful, but I’m going to try. The past year was one like no other: COVID, house fire, campus wide upgrade, and launching Higher Ed AV and HETMA. As a workaholic, it’s hard for me to say to myself that it’s ok to stop and breathe, but I’m going to try. Wish me luck! LOL!

The pandemic got us into spending hours hanging out in the backyard with the family, enjoying being together and outdoors without TVs and game consoles and such. Looking forward to more of this but with friends joining us. Tater approves of this message.

This summer the family is taking a much needed vacation. I am also going to try and focus more on what I can control and less on what I can not control.

I fully intend to step away from my computer for a little while. I’m thinking a few minutes sometime in early June should be possible.

Don’t tell Joe, but I am planning on taking a whole lotta mental health days to make up for this crazy year. I also plan on unplugging and going camping as much as possible.
