“On Location” with Catchbox at ISE 2023

On Wednesday we had an opportunity to tour the Catchbox booth at ISE. Aleksejs Kolpakovs was able to give us the rundown on their microphone technology. Their new Catchbox Plus now has their eponymous throwable Cube microphone paired with a two-channel receiver. They have also added a compact wearable microphone, the Clip, to their product line that also works with that receiver. Both the Cube and the Clip can be completely personalized with the colors and logo of your college or university! Both products now come with rechargeable batteries and charging stations to keep them up and running. Working on a DECT frequency, the products are easy to implement in a noisy RF environment. Finally, we asked about safety given the pandemic, and they indicated their products are now treated with ViralOff that serves to disinfect the product to keep it clean and safe for use.
