HETMA Welcomes TEKVOX

HETMA (Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance), the official advocacy organization for the higher education vertical in the A/V industry, is pleased to welcome TEKVOX as a new sponsor.

TEKVOX offers unique A/V control technology that brings unprecedented affordability, capability, and reliability to education markets. By applying state-of-the-art Internet of Things (IoT) and enterprise management (EMS) technologies, TEKVOX’s distributed, networked solutions dramatically reduce the cost of acquiring and operating A/V-rich educational facilities.

This fall, TEKVOX will host a factory visit for interested HETMA members to showcase its unique manufactured A/V systems. TEKVOX will also participate in our Austin-based road show where the company will highlight its latest A/V solutions.

“Higher education is our primary market and the market where our customers see the best long-term value for their spend,” says TEKVOX Vice President of Sales, Joshua Joseph. “HETMA is where technology managers come together with manufacturers and vendors to exchange information on their needs and the challenges they face. TEKVOX enjoys direct engagement with A/V end users, so we’re looking forward to networking with HETMA members at events and outreach opportunities.”

TEKVOX has a number of major higher education projects to its credit, including recent HyFlex upgrades across the Lone Star College system (a customer since 2009) and new HyFlex installs at Texas Southern University, where the library learning center previously implemented TEKVOX equipment. St. Mary’s University and Trinity University in San Antonio and Prairie View A&M near Houston are also TEKVOX customers.

“The higher education market benefits from our full system approach, so they are investing in a complete room solution, not just components,” Joseph explains. “This is true one-stop-shopping for a complete plug-and-play system.”

TEKVOX also offers TEKVOX-installed evaluation and demo rooms at no obligation or cost. Once a purchase is made, the company provides unlimited tech support for life and a lifetime software warranty. In addition, TEKVOX offers a five-year warranty on its Drop-In A/V solutions exclusively for HETMA members.
