ScreenBeam has published a new case study highlighting how St. Petersburg College is using its wireless collaboration technology as part of a broader classroom refresh strategy. The piece centers on the college’s effort to balance ease of use, maintainability, and flexibility across a large and complex footprint that includes 10 campuses, 550 classrooms, 125 meeting spaces, and 11 auditorium or performance venues. St. Petersburg College has made ScreenBeam 1100 Plus receivers a standard part of its classroom technology approach, with the institution also earning HETMA recognition in 2025 for its work applying emerging technology in classrooms and conference spaces.
The case study also highlights the deployment as a practical response to real operational needs. ScreenBeam’s native support for Miracast, AirPlay, and Google Cast is a way to reduce friction for users bringing their own devices, while the company’s Central Management System helps support a lean AV operation managing technology across multiple campuses. St. Petersburg College has already deployed 60 units, with 60 more planned for classrooms and another 20 slated for conference and meeting spaces, pointing to a continued investment in wireless presentation and collaboration tools that fit hybrid, in person, and online learning environments.
