We are pleased to announce the release of our newest lectern called EVOLVE. This latest offering was designed in collaboration with several universities and many of the AV integrators who support these institutions.
Thanks to the HETMA Roadshows in 2024, CCI had the perfect platform to brainstorm with these HigherEd Technology Managers. As a result of this collaboration, we compiled a ‘wish list’ of features considered necessary for a functional lectern in today’s classroom.
Our primary focus was on ‘ease of use’ for both faculty and the AV professionals. See list of features below.

In addition to the importance of the features listed above, the AV Integrators also had a couple of unique requests. The AV pros like the idea of having a removable rack that could be populated at an off-site facility. After the technology is installed, the racks can be delivered to the classroom and installed into the lecterns.
To satisfy this need, we have designed this cabinet to accommodate a 16u removable rack option. Pre-drilled holes in the floor of the cabinet will secure the rack after installation.
Finally, we have learned that many AV Integrators do not offer lecterns because of the hassle often associated with shipping and assembly. Time is money. No IT/AV team wants to spend hours assembling furniture. To solve this problem, all lecterns are assembled at the factory and shipped ready-to-use.
